So Over Summer
So Over Summer
Sep 01I’m definitely over summer. It is now September which means fall is around the corner. The weather disagrees as it is like 95 out or something like that. The humidity is worse and I feel all sweaty and sticky and just ick. Blah. Go away summer. This weekend is going to be in the 60′s. YAY.
I’m back at my mom’s and it’s OK. Very cramped and 5 days a week I’m in my mom’s room with the other 2 being on the living room floor on an air mattress. Meh, it works. We had court yesterday and they’re keeping Gracie in mom’s custody until we go back on the 27th of October in which case, if the reports from my doctors continue to be positive, it appears I will regain full custody. YAY.
Speaking of the munchkin, she turns 1 on the 28th. I can’t believe she’s growing up! Time definitely does fly I agree.
Randy got a sentence cap of 1-3 which means he’ll be upstate for 2 years most likely. My status with him is… well let’s just say he calls every day and I visit him twice a week. Gracie comes with me once and I go alone the other time since it’s easier to talk without her getting fussy or impatient to sit for 45 minutes.

I enjoy summer (though autumn is my favorite season) because I cannot handle the cold. I hate it! I would much rather be hot than cold. My mom says I’m an odd duck. Wow, I cannot believe Gracie will be 1! The grow up so fast while use mothers grow old just as fast LOL. If you want to work things out with Randy, then I hope that’s what happens. If not, then I hope you find someone who treats you like a Queen! Sometimes people have to hit rock bottom. Sounds like Randy did and he may just be realizing what he lost.
I was very much into summer in June. Now that it’s September and I have jeans and am itching to do some fall decorating and baking, I am over summer. Leave, plz.
As far as the Randy situation goes… I think it would be in your best interest and Gracie’s to just walk away. But I understand emotions and feelings, and how hard it can be to walk away from someone/something that was at one point such a big part of your life. Good luck.
I love summer and wish it would stay FOREVER. “Oh hi, my name is Mike, the two major centres where I can do my job are London and LA and I’ll just choose the cold rainy one” Stupid boy.
We’ve talked a fair bit about you and Randy, and in the end, it’s your decision. Just remember that it’s not just your emotions, security, and stability you risk – it’s Gracie’s too. You’re not stupid though, and I know you’ll make the best decision for you.
I think we need some new pictures of Miss Gracie, now that she’s nearly one! I’m glad the custody thing is nearly sorted out, and since you’re living with your mom, I’m glad she is the one with custody if the court isn’t ready to give it to you yet.
